Trekking in the Italian Dolomites was a dream come true. The high, craggy peaks are dramatic and beautiful. During my first trip to the Dolomites the weather was frequently raining and provided little opportunity for photographs. On this day, just as we ascended to the top of a wind swept pass, a storm was clearing and the timing was perfect.
