Commercial and Fine Art
My dad always said I was a dreamer. Head in the clouds. That sort of thing. He wasn’t wrong. Following my freshman year in college, I packed up my first camera and headed west looking for adventure. I knew nothing about photography, but I had a sense that the camera would be my vehicle for chasing stories and dreams. I soon found myself huddled out of the rain, sitting in a tent at the base of the Grand Tetons. I was filled with excitement and expectation. The next morning, standing on the shore of Leigh Lake, I watched as the sun broke through and danced light on those incredible mountains. I picked that camera up and began my journey as a photographer that day.
My career as a photographer began a couple of years later when I graduated from college. I got a portfolio together, flipped open the Yellow Pages and began calling ad agencies. Then I went out to show my “book”. My first professional assignment soon followed.
All these years later, I am still on that journey. And I am still packing up my camera and chasing those stories and dreams.
